Canada Day Fireworks

Wednesday, July 1st as Canada celebrates yet another birthday there are a string of Fireworks and other celebrations planned.

New Westminster, celebrating its 150th Birthday, has apparently scheduled a big fireworks display.  Set to go off at 9:30 p.m at the Quay, it promises to be quite a show.  I haven't found a super vantage point for the fireworks, so if anyone knows of one, please share with the rest of us.  For anyone interested in attending, Mike and I plan to be somewhere down there, cameras and tripods set up.  Give us a call if you plan to join us.  You all have Mikes cell phone number.

    I say we camp out where we did before and just wing it. I think the fireworks are up the river this time. I also prefer the BBQ portion of the evening and I think we should chip in a bit more since you guys put on a BIG spread last time. Early and good seats?

    I will give you a call on Wednesday and hang out with everyone that night, but I might miss the BBQ because I will be in Abbotsford shooting some homework with my Mom and her horse.
